At
the press conference today it was announced that there were some
irregularities concerning the tele-voting at the final evening of
the EMA 2002. Therefore the results of the tele-voting are null.
The winner of the EMA 2002 remains group Sestre with the
song Samo ljubezen.

(Sisters) are the winners of the EMA 2002 and will represent
Slovenia at the ESC 2002 in Tallinn.

2002 - SEMI FINAL - RESULTS

EMA
2002 will be held on February 15th and 16th
in Ljubljana - in studio 1 of TV Slovenia. You can watch live
transmissions of both shows on the 1. programme of
TV Slovenia (at 20.05).
In
the semi-final there will be 18 songs, ten of them will progress
to the final on Saturday. Five songs will be chosen by tele-voting,
five more will be added by a jury of experts.
In
the final there will be another jury next to the jury of experts
and televoters: jury of Entertainment Programme of TV Slovenia,
the organiser of the project EMA - ESC 2002.
Director
of the shows is Peter Juratovec.
The most successful Slovenian artists at the ESC will host
the semi-final: Nuša Derenda and Darja Švajger. The
host of the final evening is Miša Molk. Andrea F will
join them on both nights. He will be in charge of the voting.
Special
guest star at the EMA 2002 is Estonian singer Ines who
represented her country at the ESC 2000 in Stockholm. With
her song Once In A Lifetime she was the favourite for the
victory and ended up in the fourth place.

Here
is now the complete list (with few changes) with all the titles,
artists, composers and authors of lyrics and arrangements. The artists
will draw for running order of presentation at the EMA 2002 in the
following alphabetical order of the song titles. The press conference
with drawing will be held on December 7th 2001 at 13.00
in the studio 1 of TV Slovenia. A short reportage of it will be
broadcasted in the entertainment show "Mario" (TV Slovenia,
1. programme, Sunday - Dec 9th 2001 at 20.00) .

Estonian national television ETV has signed an agreement with AS MicroLink Systems to design the official website of the Eurovision Song Contest 2002. The site will be launched on March 1st 2002.

The
official draw for running order for the Eurovision Song Contest
2002 was held on November 9th in Tallinn, the host city of the ESC
2002.
Slovenia
was lucky and got the running number 22. In the last few years
it was an advantage to sing at the end of the Contest. At the
Eurovision Song Contest 2001 the top 3 entries were presented
among the last five.

final ESC 2002 show will be held in Tallinn on May 25th 2002.
