The Postojna middle schools for carpentry and foresting have already arranged the unemployed to take part in the courses on how to use foresting tools. The courses will last 80 hours or in other words - 2 weeks. The people taking part will mostly do fieldwork in the Primorska, Notranjska, Dolenjska area and elsewhere. The courses are about to start in the following days and at least 300 people are expected to take part. The employment bureau is also preparing a public invitation for public work and the program to use the unemployed to help clear up the forests. This would enable the unemployed to get a subsidized employment.
According to the employment bureau, the invitations will be made public knowledge as soon as the money, expected to come in when the intervention law does, is secured.
