The ruling of the European Court of Human Rights orders a scheme to repay around 280,000 deposit holders under the same conditions that had applied to those wko kept their savings at LB subsidiaries in Slovenia.

Even though the Ministry of Finance says that the ruling is unconvincing, as it does not take into account the succession agreement, with Slovenia having to bear a disproportionate financial burden, the country still needs to respect the ruling, and will continue to do so as guaranteed.

Slovenia has to take measures enabling the payment by mid July.
