The purpose of the campaign, coordinated by the Administration for Civil Protection and Disaster Relief and Roads Directorate, was in one day gather all the available forces, mainly companies from the construction and forestry fields to assist in removing obstacles on the roads around the country and to restore normal conditions and road connections.

Responding to a call by the Municipality of Koper and the Port of Koper for volunteers six companies stepped in. Road clearance, disposal and removal of branches and trees along the way involved 30 volunteers with five trucks and one backhoe loader. They worked on the road sections Postojna - Razdrto , Postojna - Erasmus, Drtija - Izlake , Izlake - Zagorje , Trojan- Izlake , Unec-Rakek - Podskrajnik and Razdrto Senožeče and cleared a total of 40 km of roads.
