At the BTC City market in Ljubljana a Beer and fruits of nature fair is taking place today. There you can try different beers including wheat and herbal beers made by Slovenian brewers.

If you have a sweet tooth, the capital also offers a chocolate festival. The event will be held on Pogačarjev trg from morning to evening and it will present a wide range of Slovenian chocolatiers and young confectioneries.

As part of the event called Flavours of Gorenjsko region a festival of Tepke will be held at Hotel Triglav Bled from 10 am onwards. The festival is trying to revive the memory of Tepke - sweet pears that grow in Slovenia since the 18th century. The planting of these trees was ordered by Maria Theresa and anyone who disobeyed her command would be spanked – hence the name “Tepke”.

And in Žalec you can enjoy some fresh and fine apples from the Savinja valley at the festival Japka. Growers of apples will present old apple varieties, apple products and apple tasting delicacies. Several workshops for children will also be organized throughout the day.
