Slovenian expatriates in the USA apparently love them! They even have competitions of awarding the best one.

This year, the title went to a butcher's shop that in 2006 sent one into space.
On Sep 11, the American state of Ohio organized a 10th Annual Kranjska klobasa festival, awarding Azman Quality Meats, for making a sausage that was sent into space (MIR) by American astronaut of Slovenian descent Sunita Williams.

The festival, featuring food, music and drinks, hosted a number of other sausage makers.

The winning Azman sausages are set to be introduced at the 50th Polka Awards in Cleveland, US, Nov 28-30.
