The Federal Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina has ordered several media editors from the Daily Avaaz, Al Jazeera Balkans and all TV stations to hand over their material on the recent protests, otherwise they will have to pay a fine of EUR 25,000.

Daily Avaaz has reported that police inspectors will gather the audio-visual material and texts by the journalists who covered the protests which began on the 7th of February. The police are gathering evidence for the criminal proceedings. They will return the material in two weeks' time.

Meanwhile information surfaced that the media in Bosnia published false news regarding the protests. Many claim that the media are as corrupt as the country’s politicians.
