Bus tickets can be purchased at the same time as train tickets at major railway stations, for example, in Maribor, Celje and Ljubljana. The price is the same as for the regular trains on the same route, but with different benefits the price can be reduced by half.

The "bathing train" departs from Maribor every day at 3.40 am and arrives in Koper at 8.30 am. The train has on-board space for bikes; and on Tuesdays and Fridays there are sleeping-cars and couchettes from Budapest, Moscow and Kiev.

For the first time this year a motorail train from the Netherlands arrived in Koper. This service, which began last year, will run every Saturday to and from the Netherlands.

Interest in the "bathing train", which has a tradition of 15 years, is enormous. Prices are the same as on regular routes, with different benefits for the elderly and young passengers. All passengers have a 30-percent discount for round trip at the weekends. The fare from Maribor to Koper is EUR 17.67, at weekends and for holidays a return ticket can be purchased for EUR 24.74.
