For the third consecutive year, the Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre (GR) has been hosting two fairs simultaneously under one slogan “Everything for your home!”. At the Ambienti Ljubljana fair, 234 companies from 19 countries are showing their innovations and novelties in the field of furniture design and interior design, and at the Dom Plus fair, the companies are showing fixtures, heating and cooling technology and prefabricated houses.

The fair ends Sunday, November 11th, and it offers the visitors an additional program with free 30 minutes long architectural counselling and tips for energy refurbishments, which are offered by architects, statics expert, and physicists from the ZRMK Building and Civil Engineering Institute, as well as all the details and novelties of the Eco Fund tender.

A special guest of the fair is family business from Italy Twils S. r. l. with extensive trading experience in the field of upholstered beds and accessories. Jurij Rihar, a Slovenian collector and restorer of Thonet furniture will show a restoration procedure at the workshop.

As every year, they will again award the most outstanding products of Slovenian companies. The criterion of the special commission (Vladimir Pzdirc, Marco Marangone, Marjan Orešić, and Janez Koželj) was based on the combination of functionality and technological or visual quality. We also noticed that this year, the commission emphasized the affordability of the products for the first time.
