Their monthly bill would increase from €14,17 to €31,81, a 124 % hike, ŠOS president Mitja Urbanc said. The combined cost of basic and supplemental health insurance would thus increase from over €500 to over €700 per year. According to Urbanc, such discriminatory practices might be unconstitutional. He stressed that in the academic year 2011/2012 as many as 16.909 full-time students were older than 26.
