Minister for Infrastructure and Spatial Planning Samo Omerzel said that the indexes of property values in Slovenia range from 0.7 to 0.9. This means that since 2010 the price of real estate in Slovenia dropped significantly. In practice this means a property worth € 100,000 will now be worth only 70,000 euros.

With the new regulation price of real estate in the entire county will be reduced by an average of 17% and according to Omerzel also the revenue from property tax will be lower.
