The conference was organised as part of an official visit by Prime Minister Alenka Bratušek to Paris and featured more than 20 senior executives of major French infrastructure, transport, construction, energy and defence companies. The investors showed the most interest for the investment in the banks, Airport Ljubljana and Adria and DARS. According to the representative of the association MEDEF Charles Paradis the conference was a testament that the interest of French companies to invest in Slovenia is "huge". At the conference Bratušek expressed the belief that this is an important step in strengthening of the business ties between Slovenia and France. At the same time she stressed that Slovenia will carry out the privatization with transparent tenders. Preference will be given to strategic partners with an intention of a long-term presence in the country and with good plans for the media.
