The purpose of the International Rostrum of Composers is to present and evaluate recordings of new music. Slovenian music has had a double success in Talin, owing to two concert recordings from this year's, the 59th season of the "Kromatika" series performed by the RTV Slovenija Symphonic Orchestra.

The symphonic debut Cancro by Matej Bonin convinced the delegates from 28 countries and earned first place in the selection of the best composers younger than 30. The starting point of the composition is a music flow which is released with an outburst by the entire orchestral body. The delegates pointed out Bonin's exceptional feeling for the construction of sound and the distribution of music time across the score.

The second Slovenian composition, Vito Žuraj's Runaround, became one of the works recommended by the rostrum in the general category, which is a repeat of Slovenia's success from 2012.
