The first match will be played on the 19th or 20th of August.

Celtic qualified for the last and final round after the disqualification of Legia Warsaw. UEFA disqualified the team from Poland after it sent an unregistered player out on the field in the 86th minute. Legia Warsaw otherwise won its doulbe header against Celtic with a total of 6:1.

Slovenian champions Maribor will thus face Celtic for a place in the Champions League. The last and only other time Maribor played in the Champions League was 15 years ago.
