The 61-year-old Guinness World Record swimmer told MMC at the end of October that November will be a big month for him. We now know why. “The world loves me and supports me in what I do,” he said in a recent interview with MMC.
Strel, who has set a total of five Guinness World Records, said he was delighted to have been selected as one of the inductees for the 2015 Hall of Fame class. According to its official website, the International Marathon Swimming Hall Of Fame (IMSHOF) inducted three more swimmers into its Hall of Fame Class of 2015: Forrest Nelson (USA), Antonio Argüelles Díaz González (Mexico), and George Park (Canada).
