A little more than two weeks before the beginning of the Olympic Winter Games the MMC Olympic Portal was launched, which will allow you to follow the live transmissions of happenings in Sochi – also the events not broadcasted by TV SLO 2.

At the address www.rtvslo.si/oi2014 you will find everything you need to know before the largest winter happening in the world. The schedule, the history, the statistics, the biggest achievements of the Slovenian athletes… are analysed in detail. A special subportal is dedicated to ice hockey, as the Slovenian male national team will participate at the tournament for the first time, led by Anže Kopitar.

We are working on a number of interviews and web chats both from Slovenia and from Sochi. MMC will provide the Olympic Service 24 hours per day. Slavko Jerič is in charge of the backstage stories from the very location of the games, together with other colleagues from television and radio. He will also answer to the questions from our readers in the Sport SOS rubric (Športni SOS).

The MMC Portal will let you follow live all the events from the Olympic Winter Games through the new RTV 4D application in high resolution. And don't worry if you miss something. Everything will be saved in our archive – all the goals, all Tina Maze's runs, all the highest points of our ski jumpers, and of all Slovenian athletes.

MMC TV will allow you to follow live also the events which won't be broadcasted by TV Slovenija 2 because of overlapping – it will be most appreciated by the ice hockey fans!

MMC will prepare text comments on all the events also through the special "Scribble live" application, which was largely appreciated during the European Basketball Championship.
