Such was the decision of the Euroleague disciplinary judge, related to the incident following the match against Budivelnik, when the famous Slovenian singer Zoran Predin attacked and hit one of the judges. Predin is, of course, banned from attending the matches in future. The trainer of green-white team Aleš Pipan was fined by 3,000 Euros as well, for "lack of respect shown to the trio of judges".

Zupančič: I hope our appeal will be successful
"Considering that the penalties foreseen for major offences range between 10,000 and 100,000 Euros, we believe we came off with a small loss. They took into account also our explanation of the circumstances. They understood that the incident was caused by an individual, in no way by the club. I consider the penalty quite understandable. On the other hand, I hope our appeal against three matches behind the closed doors will be successful. None, neither us nor Uleb, wants matches in front of empty stands. It causes great economic damage to the club," Matevž Zupančič, the Olimpija director, commented the decision for MMC.

Union Olimpija has already finished this season's competition for Eurocup.
