This spring, Databox already added Staples, the second-largest online retailer in the USA, to its customer list. Databox’s web application allows businesses to integrate all their data into a central dashboard. Now the Ptuj-based company is taking things a step further. Their mobile solution has won over Sears, the American department store with more than 270,000 employees.

This is the largest implementation of our solution to date. Landing Sears is further proof that even small companies can help streamline business processes by providing innovative solutions – even in systems as large as Staples and Sears,” Davorin Gabrovec, Databox co-founder and the leader of the company’s Boston team, said.

The fledgling Ptuj-based company has achieved great success on American soil, but the company has even bigger plans for the future. According to co-founder Vlada Petrović, Databox has already entered negotiations with new Fortune 500 companies, which could move to their platform in the coming year. They did not mention any names, of course, but it is evident that both the Ptuj-based company and their web application, which is also used by companies like Lonely Planet, Ubisoft and Brightcove, are gaining some serious traction.
