This year, the recession will pull down GDP by 2.7 percent. Next year, Slovenia will be the only eurozone country, together with Cyprus, to be stuck in a recession. In 2014 Slovenia’s GDP is expected to contract by one per cent. For the euro area as a whole by the Commission forecasts a gradual recovery and a return to stronger growth in 2015. The key risks are external factors, notably weak growth in emerging markets. The biggest problem remains unemployment.
