Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) for the period stood at 160.2 million euros, which is 3% less than in the same period last year. The operating profit for the group was 45.5 million euros, which is 5% less than a year ago. As reported by Finance online magazine, this increase of profit is the result of sale of 45% share of the Macedonian operator One, which has already been entered in the accounts.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) for the third quarter stood at EUR 160.2 million euros, adjusted for the effects of its sold holdings in One and Gibtelecom, EBITDA rose by 16% year-on-year, and the net revenue from sale is in this instance higher by 2%. Compared to the end of 2014, Telekom Slovenije group in the first nine months improved also the EBITDA share in the net revenue from sale, which was 29.2%.

The number of users has increased
Sales of ICT services rose by 85%; net sales stood at 549.5 million euros through nine months, although a comparison with last year is not completely reliable because the group has included revenues of its former Macedonian subsidiary One only for seven months of the year. Total business revenue of the group was 559.7 million euros.

The largest Slovenian operator is facing a decline of revenue in fixed and mobile telephony, and the continuing drop of prices of call termination, but the number of users has grown. The number of mobile telephony users has risen by 1%, of IP TV users up by 4.3%, and of broadband internet users by 3.6%.
