The deadline expires today. It seems likely that the story of the purchase of Mercator by Croatian company Agrokor will not see an end yet. The agreement between Mercator and Agrokor was signed in June last year. The contract stipulated that the sale should be concluded by the end of March, however at the current pace and the possibility of another extension of the deadline it seems likely that the sale will be postponed to a much later date.
