The infamous leader of a cocaine ring, Darko Šarić, was arrested in Belgrade today. Šarić was accused of selling 5.7 tons of cocaine and money laundering to the effect of 220 million euros.

He is a citizen of Montenegro, and was flown from there to Belgrade this morning. His capture was said to be a joint operation by numerous intelligence agencies, including Slovenia’s Sova. Prosecutors did not wish to disclose how, and in what capacity, the Slovenian intelligence services participated.
