According to Čufer, Slovenia is not under any pressure of asking for a bailout. He highlighted this in Lithuania's Vilnius today at the informal meeting of eurogroup finance ministers. Joining him was also new central bank governor Boštjan Jazbec.

Eurogroup president Jeroen Dijsselbloem, however, warned that Slovenia needs to work with the EU Commission and the European Central Bank (ECB) in order to assure effective review of the current situation of the country's banks.
