Prime Minister Alenka Bratušek who lost the contest for the leadership of Positive Slovenia to Jankovič will announce her decision whether she will step down as Prime Minsiter and open the way for early elections after talks with President Borut Pahor tomorrow.

Bratušek has previously said that she would resign if ousted as party leader. Bratušek’s coalition partners announced after the PS party congress that the coalition does not exist anymore and that the only solution is early elections. It will be also interesting to hear what Alenka Bratušek’s plans for her future within the party PS are and how the MP’s of Positive Slovenia will react. Some have already left the party after Jankovič’s election as party leader others have announced that they will leave the party.
