Eight songs took the stage: Lea Sirk performed with the song Thank you, no!, Indigo presented Vesna, INA SHAI sang Glow, BQL appeared with the song Promise, Marina Martensson with Close, Lara Kadis introduced herself with Now I'm here, Proper with Stolen flower, and Nuška Drašček, who we heard singing Do not leave me now.

In addition to listeners and TV spectators, the final selection of the Slovenian representative at Eurovision was decided by six expert juries, each consisting of five members. Televoting contributed 50 percent of the vote, and the total jury votes added the remaining 50.
How were votes distributed?

The jury of the Slovenian Official Fan Club OGAE Slovenia gave Lea Sirk the highest points (12), the jury of music artists as well as the radio jury and the television jury decided the same, as did also the jury of former Slovenian representatives at Eurovision. The international jury, composed of former Eurovision participants from abroad, opted for Ina Shai.

Televoting gave 12 points to Ina Shai, 24 points to the Proper band, 36 points to Lara Kadis, 48 points to Lea Sirk, 60 points went to Nuška Drašček and 72 points to BQL.
