According to PM Cerar there is a lot of mistrust in Slovenian society today. The mistrust was mostly fueled by the crisis. The signed document now represents a step towards the restoring of mutual trust between partners. However the union's announcement of new action in order to change the minimum wage definition is proof that a difficult path still lies ahead.
Nobody trusts anyone's word anymore. PM Cerar ascertains that there is doubt even when something is signed. It does happen for signed agreements to become only empty words on a piece of paper. "It's high time for us to prove to ourselves and the young, that it is possible to believe and focus on a same goal."

Minister Anja Kopač Mrak said the document represents a vision. She also acknowledges that they will soon need to begin negotiations on the minimum wage. Unions will begin collecting signatures to change the minimum wage bill. The representative of employers, Jože Smole, said they would not avoid dialogue with the unions if they demand it.

Due to such unresolved issues – like the minimum wage which has been left out of the social pact - social peace among partners will be put on test in the coming months
