The intention of this year’s Caritas week is to encourage individuals and society in the spirit of the European year of active citizenship to believe in their fellow man.

The Caritas week is meant for the recognition and encouragement for more than 9.400 active volunteers of Caritas. It emphasizes that volunteers and all citizens alike, build the future together and that we jointly seek the best in ourselves and others.

The main event will be Wednesday's 23. Traditional charity concert titled »Klic dobrote« or in other words »The call of benevolence«. The event is organized by Caritas Slovenia with the help of Radio television Slovenia. The charity concert is for families in financial distress and will take place in Celje.
