The extrajudicial senate of the Celje district court found that the decision to launch an investigation against Uroš Rotnik, the former boss of the TEŠ coal-fired power plant, was not backed by sufficient evidence.
The decision has therefore been annulled. The finding also applies for the other two accused, Darko Končan and Bogdan Pušnik. All three are accused of money laundering.
Uroš Rotnik was released from prison in December. All three say they are innocent.
