This is a novelty of this year's festival. From this year forth, each year, one celebrity will receive the honor of planting a rose, with the registered name Portorož. The tourism association of Protorož explained that this way, a flower bed of famous is soon to start growing in Portorož. Besides stands with flowers, roses and cottage industry products, the festival will also offer culinary delights made of roses.

Today and tomorrow, visitors will be able to attend a guided tour of the parks in Portorož or a walk to the Forma Viva, which will include a visit to an olive grove on Seča and a visit to the garden of cacti.

Numerous workshops for children and adults will also be taking place. All activities of the festival will be free.
