Sottler was not able to participate at the press conference today due to illness, but her assistant Sibil Gruntar Vilfan on her behalf said that for Sottler the award she received for her illustration of Eurydice in a book by poet Bina Štampe Žmavc Poem for Lyre was also a recognition of her many years of work, and constant striving for quality.

"Learning the ropes" for the American market
The award has opened a number of doors in the American and world markets. Already at the award ceremony Sottler made contacts with representatives of illustration agencies, yet Gruntar Vilfan explained that it was too soon to speak of any specific arrangements, as such processes take time. She said that the award was noticed in foreign media as well – until now more than 30 reports have been noticed.

Poem for Lyre was published in 2015 by Založba Pivec publishing house. The poet revives the classic antique myth of Orpheus and Eurydice in her own rhythm, and with an interesting sound image. To the book a CD with Vasko Atanasovski music is enclosed. The design is the work of Ivian Kan Mujezinović, the accompanying study was written by Jaroslav Skrušny, and the poem was translated by Nada Grošelj.
