The website is packed with information to help guests make the most of their visit to the region.

The Vipava Valley last year unveiled a strategy to promote the region under one umbrella brand. "This is one of the very few websites in Slovenia that allow the visitor to browse through full-screen photographs. Our website provides an immersive experience, and it allows the visitor to experience the natural beauty and hidden gems of the region," said Lučka Peljhan, the creative director of the project.

The website is easily updateable and allows its users – local winegrowers, fruit farmers, owners of adrenaline parks, fishers etc. – to regularly add content.

Promotional video was a challenge to make
It took Samo Premrn about one year to record enough footage to fill a five-minute promotional video. He and his team set out to capture the natural beauty of the region on film, and after a year they had a total of 30 hours of video in the can. It was a challenge for Premrn and his team to whittle down the footage into a short video, but somehow they managed to do just that. The trailer is now available on the valley’s new website.
