They are fifth in the overall standings. The world champions are chefs from Hong Kong.

Chefs aged 18 to 24 participated in the competition. The Slovenian team included only one professional chef, the rest were students and graduates of catering schools in Portoroz, Ljubljana and Maribor.

The main dish, prepared by the young Slovenian chefs in Seoul, was sea bass tartar with lemon olive oil in crispy dough on mint pea cream.
