Many Slovenian cities will organize different cleaning events today, a day before World Earth day. In Ljubljana, the 27^th eco-cleaning event Ljubljanica 2018 will take place today, organized by the society for underwater activities Viviera and the Slovenian diving association. The event will be accompanied by a cultural program on the banks of the river Ljubljanica. A special event that raises awareness of a clean dog-poop-free environment will also take place in Ljubljana, reminding dog owners of how they contribute to a cleaner Ljubljana if they clean up after their pets. Similar bigger cleaning events will also be organized in Jesenice and Postojna.
