Sweden took gold followed by two Russians.

The 22-year old Lampič managed to keep up with her more experienced rivals until the top of the last climb.

Lampič was fourth in her group in the semi-finals.

Slovenia had two other competitors in the quarter finals, Katja Višnar and Alenka Čebašek, who finished 16th and 30th overall.
