Four groups of trade unions will take part in the meeting.

Trade unions representing teachers, police officers and health and social care employees all have demands.

Altogether they have more than 80 demands, mostly related to higher pay, for a combined amount of almost EUR 1bn. The previous government was unable to reach a deal with them.
