Experts have started with the deactivation of the unexploded WW2 bomb on a construction site in Maribor today. They have placed the bomb in a 10 m deep hole and then they will attempt to remove the ignition fuse.
8 experts are working on it. Residents living in a radius of 300 m have been evacuated.

Maribor was hit by 29 air raids from the Alliess towards the end of WW2. Almost 16.000 explosive devices were dropped in that time and chances to find unexploded bomb is relatively high in some areas .
