Brussels Airlines is the first airline to announce new routes from Ljubljana since the carrier collapsed. Another company announced it would be organizing charter flights as well.

Adria was responsible for about half of the airport’s traffic.

The airport operator said it hoped to restore five crucial lines by the end of the year. The five are Brussels, Frankfurt, Vienna, Munich and Zurich.

The national post meanwhile announced that they switched from Adria to other airlines and partly to Zagreb airport.
