The government has restricted the use of space near nuclear facilities.
It has issued a new decree on areas of restricted land use due to a nuclear facility. It has also issued a decree on the conditions of construction of facilities in those areas.
The objectives are to comply with the law and to implement radiation and nuclear safety measures.
The Nuclear Safety Administration has already updated the list of parcels around the Krško Nuclear Power Plant. However, the construction of residential buildings in the wider area of ​​controlled use, is still permitted, despite the general ban.
