The head of the SDS Janez Janša will head Slovenia's next government. He was voted PM in parliament today. He received 52 votes.
After the vote, Janša said it was a long day, but that the days ahead will be filled with effort and work for the common good.
Janša's SDS party earlier reached a coalition deal with the SMC Modern Centre Party, New Slovenia (NSi) and the Pensioners' Party (DeSUS). Janez Janša now has 15 days to nominate his cabinet. It will be Janša’s third government.
