The number of mountaineering accidents is on the rise in Slovenia.
More than 35 accidents took place over this winter. Four people have died.
The number of such accidents has been gradually growing in re
cent years. Last year, 604 rescue missions were needed in total.
In 2019, more than 40 people died in the mountains, half of them were mountain climbers.
