There are 1,7 million voters eligible to cast their ballots.

Until 7pm, voters will be deciding in a run-off vote between incumbent President Borut Pahor and his challenger, Kamnik Mayor Marjan Šarec, following the first round of the election on 22 October, when neither of the nine candidates won at least half of the vote.

The new Slovenian president will begin his term of five years on 23 December.
