The song HVALA NE made it through the second semi-final last night.

Lea Sirk performed as a backup singer at the Eurovision finals in 2014. She got attention last night with an unexpected intermission that made it seem like there were technical problems.

In other Eurovision news, Russia was eliminated from the same semi-final.

It will be the first time the country has not qualified since 1998. The final on Saturday will be one of the most watched events of the year. However, one country that won’t be watching is China. The European Broadcasting Union barred China from airing the final after a TV station there censored LGBT signs and flags.
