The news comes after yesterday's surgery on her injured knee in Switzerland's Basel.

The World Cup champion in the women's downhill from the previous season injured her left knee during a training session last Sunday in Austria.

27-year old Štuhec is now facing months of rehabilitation. She will be back for the 2018/19 season.
