The Slovenian women's basketball team will open its 2021 EuroBasket campaign today in Strasbourg, France, against Turkey. This will be its third appearance at the European championships.
In their first European tournament the women's team scored one win, and in the second they were ousted by Belgium in additional play-offs.
Head coach Damir Grgić said they will try to use all the experience in this match, which will certainly be very demanding.
Tomorrow, Slovenia will have a chance to play Belgium in Group C, and will wrap up the preliminary round on Sunday against Bosnia-Herzegovina.
