Galleries, museums and theaters will open their doors today in celebration of the birthday of poet France Prešeren. Today would be the poet’s 219th birthday.
Petra Koleto from the ministry of culture said it was getting more and more popular.
The so-called merry day of culture means that there will be 300 free events in the country today. Many schoolchildren will be attending although events are free for all ages.
It is now in its 20th year.
