Today is World Bee Day. It will be marked by calls for pollinator-friendly agriculture. A number of events will be held around the country to promote the role of beekeepers, bees and other pollinators
The UN declared 20 May World Bee Day at Slovenia's initiative in 2017
In Slovenia, the main event will be held in Celje today as part of the Beekeepers' Festival
Next Wednesday, the Golden Bee Award will be handed out at the Presidential Palace in Ljubljana.
