Japanese group Yaskawa today signed a letter of intent for the construction an expansion of its investment plans for Slovenia. The decision comes half a year after launching the construction of its first robot-production plant in Europe.
The new robotic hand components manufacturing plant is to be built next to the plant that is already in construction in Kočevje. The two facilities are to employ about 250 people each.
Construction is expected to begin by April next year. Production, on the other hand, is to be launched within two years.
