Yaskawa Europe Robotics today purchased a 4,5-hectare plot of land to expand production at its site in Kočevje.

The EUR 740,000 investment comes just seven months after launching production there. The existing plant produces industrial robots and houses Yaskawa's European center for the development of robotics. The new plant will specialize in servo motors and controllers. It will be built on roughly half the newly purchased land, while the rest will be set aside for possible future expansion. The factory currently employs 70 people and plans an additional 15-20 hires by February.
