Marko Kastelic, member of the Traffic Pilots Union of Slovenia said the agreement significantly improves conditions for Adria airways pilots, which was the union’s goal.

Pilots had been complaining about the bad working conditions since at least 2016. The airline has had financial trouble for a while and is currently looking for a strategic partner. It is also still unclear whether it will keep its operating license.
