Turkish construction company, Cengiz, has won the contract to build the second tube of the Slovenian part of the Karavanke tunnel.
The news was announced by the Turkish company itself. Cengiz reportedly offered to build the second tube for the lowest possible price. The other two bidders say the Turkish offer was difficult to beat.
The construction work on the second tube in the Karavanke tunnel is expected to take five years.
